Run-machine Virat Kohli never looks out of form as this guy just love scoring more and more runs. The Indian skipper’s hunger for runs is admired by the all-time greats of the game. Virat Kohli is currently in a record-breaking spree, breaking almost every record possible in every subsequent game.
Recently, Virat has become has the fastest to score 10,000 ODI runs in 205 innings surpassing Sachin’s record who reached the landmark in 259 innings. Observing his hunger and passion for the game, former Australian cricket team captain lauded Virat Kohli’s ability to score runs.
Steve said the Indian Skipper will break all the records except Sir Don Bradman’s average of 99.94 in Tests.
"He's (Virat Kohli) got the passion and hunger, the fitness, the desire, the intensity and he loves playing the game. Unless he gets seriously injured, I think he'll break all the batting records barring Bradman's average," Waugh said while talking to Cricket Australia.
Sir Don Bradman in his career had scored 6996 runs in 52 tests, averaging 99.94. The former Australian batsman could have ended his career with an average of 100 had he scored only four runs in his last test. But the right-handed batsman was unfortunately out for naught in his last test against England.
Virat Kohli in Tests has scored 6331runs in 73 tests, averaging 54.58, while the 30-year old batsman has garnered 10, 232 runs in ODIs so far with an average of 59.84. Virat Kohli is currently the number one batsman in both ODIs and Tests.
