India’s left-handed batsman Gautam Gambhir always finds a way to come in the headlines, if not by his centuries then certainly by his aggressive nature. Be it a cricket great, a companion or umpire, Gambhir spares none.
Recently, in a Ranji match between Delhi and Himachal Pradesh, Delhi were sitting at a formidable position with 96 for naught in 16 overs, till a ball from Mayank Dagar clipped Gambhir’s shoulder to go into the hands of the short-leg fielder, eventually given out by the umpire.
The replays, however, clearly suggested there was day and light between bat and ball, but, unfortunately, the left-handed batsman had to walk back to the pavilion.
Fuming because of the decision, Gambhir lashed out at the umpire and on his way also thrown some cuss words at him.
