South Africa is widely known for producing tall and lanky fast bowlers who could, unarguably, trouble the most dangerous batting line up any day and, perhaps, their not-so-new bowler Kagiso Rabada is no exception. Making his debut at the age of 20, Rabada has a come a long way, having played 32 Tests, 57 One-days, and 18 T-20 Internationals for his country.
So far, Rabada’s journey has been instrumental, having picked up 151 test wickets and 93 one-day international wickets at just 23.
Recently, while speaking to Sportskeeda, the 6’3 foot bowler was asked to name the toughest bowler he has bowled to and without wasting much time, Rabada was quick to mention Virat Kohli.
"So far, it has been Virat Kohli who has been scoring a lot of runs. I haven't played as much against other nations".
Rabada has played as many as 11 ODIs and six tests against Virat, where the South African fast bowler could manage to perish Virat twice in each format.
The 23-year old bowler has reached on the top of the ranking in both test and ODI format once in his career so far.
Rabada was also full of praise for his mate Dayle Stene, who said that the veteran fast bowler has been an inspiration to so many youngsters in the county.
"Dale Steyn's contribution to South Africa is immense. He's been a contributor and won a lot of games for the country. He's played a role in putting smiles on South African faces and inspiring the youth".
