Sachin Tendulkar Names The Two Indian Cricketers To Watch Out In The Series Ahead

Each and every player besides Kl Rahul and Murli Vijay did the needful to script history, as India won their maiden test victory in Australia in 71 years on Monday, clinching the series 2-1.

While the whole nation heaped praise for Man of the Series Cheteshwar Pujara and India’s leading wicket-taker in the series Jasprit Bumrah, legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar also praised the two-star Indian players, Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant for their stellar performance in the series.

“Has been a wonderful series where the younger and senior players shared responsibilities to achieve something special. @Rishabpant777, who has gone from strength to strength and @iamkuldeep18 are definitely ones to watch out for.” He wrote on Twitter.

India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav made the most of the opportunity given in the last test, claiming five-fer in the first innings, while Rishabh Pant, unarguably, had the best Test series of his career so far, standing second in the leading run-scorers list.

After the emphatic victory, team India are geared up to clinch the three one-day international series as well, starting from 12 January 2019.

India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been rested owing to his heavy workload in the last one year, keeping in mind the World Cup just a few months away. Since January 2018, Jasprit Bumrah has bowled 402 overs while his fellow Mohammed Shami has bowled 404 overs. With the kind of form Bumrah has been in, Skipper Virat would certainly want to wrap his prized asset in Cotton Wool ahead of the World Cup.

In the absence of Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj has been called up for the series. Along with Siraj other bowlers like Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed will be seen in action against the Aussies.
