ICC Announces T20 World Cup Australia 2020 Fixtures

The fixtures for T20 World Cup cricket to be held in Australia in 2020 have been announced by the International Cricket Council on Tuesday.

The competition which is scheduled to commence from October 18 to November 15, will feature several qualifying matches before the Super 12 group campaign stages on October 24. The tournament featured seven host cities, seven venues, 16 teams, and 45 matches.

India is grouped with South Africa alongside England and Afghanistan in Pool B, while tough teams – Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, and the 2016 champions West Indies would be fighting against each other in Pool A.

Hosts Australia will play Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Virat Kohli’s men will take on the Proteas in Perth in their respective first Super 12 group matches.
