Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal on Friday night as Juventus outclassed their rivals Inter Milan in the tight Derby d’Italia at the Juventus’ Allianz Stadium Stadium. Unbeaten Old Lady continued their winning streak in Serie A this season with 14 victories in 15 games.

A powerful header from the Croatian striker Mandzukic off a cross from Joao Cancelo in the 66th minute sent Juventus 11 points ahead of second-placed Napoli and cleared at the top of the Italian league table after a 1-0 victory over Inter.

The only game where Juventus didn’t win this season was a home draw against Genoa in October. Daniel Bessa’s second-half goal ended their winning run after he leveled the score.

The 90 minute game witnessed attacks and counter attacks from both sides; however, Inter appeared to be running out of luck when Roberto Gagliardini hit the post and rebounded to goalkeeper Juventus Wojciech Szczęsny in the 29th minute.

With Derby d'Italia victory, the Old Lady beat the odds to have the best ever start by a team after the first 15 games of a season in Europe.

Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli need to win against the 19th-placed Frosinone on Saturday to narrow up the gap on the leader Juventus.
