AC Milan suffered a disappointing 0-0 away draw at second bottom Frosinone on Wednesday. The Rossoneri completed five winless games in all competitions and four goalless Serie A games for the first time since 1984.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso’s side felt a heavy pressure after his side failed to convert the shots into goals even though they has 65% possessions at Stadio Benito Stirpe. They couldn’t find the back of the net till the final whistle.

The upset draw came days after a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Fiorentina on Saturday. They also crashed out of the Europa League this month.

The 18 league title winners Milan slipped in the sixth place and are 21 points behind the leaders Juventus. They need three points to oust Lazio from the fourth place if the Rome side loss against Torino on Saturday clash.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri reportedly shortlisted probable men to replace Gattuso as the successor in the near future. Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Fabio Capello came out as the most favorite of the lot.

Spectacularly, Wenger could be the suitable choice with former Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis joined the Italian side this month.
